There are two main emotions we experience as humans. Love and fear. 

Choose love.

Valentine's day is approaching, a time to celebrate that part of us that brings joy to our lives. Take a moment and reflect on the different parts of your life and send them love.

During a recent visit to the farm, I caught myself reflecting on this. I looked all around me and saw love. The love and care it takes to create such beauty in one place: both naturally and physically. I saw an antique dresser, charming and strong after many years in use.  I saw a chipped mirror from the early 1900's, somehow more beautiful now with all its color and crack. And who can avoid seeing outside, the expansive panoramic views and trails of longhorn meandering toward the ponds.

While our everyday surroundings may not be as obviously beautiful as the ones curated at StarHill Farms, we can still take that feeling of beauty and love with us everywhere. Love your home. Love your family. Love yourself. Love the beauty that is your life.
