Winter Antiquing Weekend at StarHill Farms

Antiquing and Relaxing

Start the year off with some inspired ”junk” and one-of-a-kind antiques from Round Top. Round Top is a small town about 20 minutes from StarHill Farms that fills with vendors selling all sorts of out of the ordinary items during specific shows throughout the year. While the more elaborate, week-long events happen in the spring and fall, the winter show occurs over a specific weekend in January.

This year, 2020, the Winter Antique Show is from January 24th and 25th.

Get Inspired

StarHill Farms gives the most idyllic backdrop to begin and conclude your shopping days, with inspiring décor and authentic Texas country scenery. Sometimes it takes a trip away from our homes to see exactly how to make them feel even more special. Come get some inspiration from the farm and go gather up some special keepsakes from Round Top.

The Cabin on the Hill has a bathroom with antique fixtures and a clawfoot tub that are both beautiful and enjoyable.

It’s a rarity to find objects from the past that both look cute and function well, but you’ll see just that when staying at StarHill Farms. Let your mind open up and take in the historic log cabins made comfortable with modern amenities like A/C and Heat. The subtle cedar smell from the cabin walls is enchanting, bringing you a sort of aromatherapy experience, as if you’re stepping inside a cedar treehouse.

Get Cozy by a Fire

In the wintertime, it’s common to build firepits and use the fireplaces in the cabins. You’ll see the wood available to use with instructions in each cabin on how to use them. You can see more about these types of details regarding your stay in our Welcome Book.

Warm up and get cozy by the fireplace.

The firepit outside the Ranch House is designed to let you unwind and take in the sounds of nature around you. There are no visible buildings in view. Just pure countryside.

Enjoy Nature’s Serenity

Like always, take a minute to pause and take in the nature surrounding every cabin at the farm. Taking a few minutes to watch the cattle roam and the birds fly by can bring a refreshing sense of calm to your day…a wonderful way to get 2020 started!

Texas countryside decorated with cattle, horses, goats and deer.
